Indonesia Tropical Fruit

The Ministry of Trade participated in the 14th China Food Trade Fair 2026, which took place from March 28–31, 2026, at the Wuhan International Expo Center, China. The Indonesian pavilion was opened by the Director General of National Export Development, Fajarini Puntodewi.

Indonesia’s participation featured 17 business players showcasing a variety of superior products, including tropical fruits, spices, porang (porang), coffee, marine products such as seafood and carrageenan, herbal products, bird’s nests, as well as various processed foods and banking services.

Indonesia’s participation was a synergy between the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, the Indonesian Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, the Jakarta Provincial Government, and the Asian Trade, Tourism, and Economics Council. Given China’s significant market potential, this participation is expected to open broader collaboration opportunities and strengthen market access for Indonesian products on the global stage.

Throughout 2025, Indonesia’s non-oil and gas exports to China were recorded at USD 67.04 billion, with the main commodities being iron and steel, nickel, lignite, and coal. Meanwhile, in the processed food sector, Indonesia’s exports to China reached USD 386.48 million, with popular products including sweet biscuits, waffles and wafers, pasta, and fruit jelly.
