PT Mahkota Tri Angjaya, a false eyelash manufacturer located in Purbalingga, Central Java, received the Import Facility for Export Purposes (KITE) fiscal facility from the Central Java and Yogyakarta Regional Customs Office on Thursday (12/18). This facility is intended to facilitate the production and export of false eyelashes to international markets, particularly Germany, PT Mahkota Tri Angjaya’s primary market.
Head of Compliance Guidance and Public Relations Section of the Central Java and DIY Customs Regional Office, R. Megah Andiarto, explained that KITE Exemption is a facility for exemption from import duties on imported goods and materials used to be processed or produced into export goods.
This facility aims to reduce production costs, increase the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market, and attract greater investment to Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The provision of this facility also represents a tangible form of government support for the local manufacturing industry. “With the KITE Exemption facility, we hope that PT Mahkota Tri Angjaya can be more efficient in production, thereby increasing export volume, especially to Germany,” said Megah in her statement.
Megah stated that the KITE Exemption facility aligns with the government’s efforts to encourage the growth of the manufacturing industry and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market. “We will continue to support the domestic industry through policies and facilities that facilitate the export process, while also attracting more investment to our region,” she emphasized.
PT Mahkota Tri Angjaya itself is projected to make a significant contribution to the regional economy.
The investment value this year is estimated to reach Rp 20,536,149,982 and is projected to increase to Rp 21,480,567,453 in 2029. In addition, this company also plays a role in absorbing labor, with the number of employees this year being 435 people and projected to increase to 529 people in 2029. It is hoped that with this facility, PT Mahkota Tri Angjaya can further develop, improve export performance, and provide a positive impact on the regional and national economy.
This step is also expected to inspire other businesses to take advantage of the fiscal facilities provided by the government. “The Central Java and Yogyakarta Regional Customs and Excise Offices will continue to coordinate with various parties to ensure the smooth implementation of the KITE Exemption facility and provide optimal benefits for businesses and the Indonesian economy,” Megah concluded.
